Pros
Learning to use enterprise level tech, exposure to security vendors
Cons
Everything else basically, they teach you to be automated robots/machines that click specific buttons. There is no real value to any of the investigations you do, just click and send click and send, I am truly surprised how they haven't got breached or hacked yet or gotten any of their customers in trouble. Basically, being a SOC robot and not a SOC analyst, will leave you with nothing learnt after a year and a bit (that's the average tenure because nobody with half a brain can take more than that), because you don't think r analyse, you just do and click. Also, as a SOC Analyst in Citadel, you will feel like a second class employee, everyone else in that Company has better pay and conditions and treatment then the SOC department, which is funny because the heart of citadel is the SOC. Don't fall for the "we will teach you a course", it's not a course like you think it is, it basic training like you would have at any company. You will sign a 2 year contract with them for nothing, not worth the "course". They have really bad pay and conditions for employees when comparing to market average (especially SOC). Btw, it seems like they are quite active here as they suddenly got my last review reported and taken down for a few bad words. Just goes to show, they might have fake reviews up here to higher their rating. Basically, too many red flags for one tiny company, I highly recommend you not to go there, go work at McDonald's (better pay also) and study some more at home and then apply to a big tech company that appreciates it's employees
