Pros

Since the Malir family stepped back and Frank died, this company has lost all positives.

Cons

86 culture! If you're a GM, don't ruin your career working here. I have witnessed the company break its own policies to fire salaried managers. Teammates are given area manager contact information and encouraged to report day-to-day happenings. Managers can and are termed if teammates complain or gossip without cause. The lack of ethics and integrity is concerning. Cheating inventory is common and reporting it can get you fired. C-level annual visits are planned dog & pony shows so no one actually knows what is happening.

Pros

City Barbeque really emphasizes creating a happy, welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff. There's a strong team-oriented culture, and management encourages employees to bring energy and positivity to every shift. I appreciated the flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to learn multiple roles, which helped me grow skills in customer service and operations.

Cons

As with any busy restaurant, some shifts can get hectic, and communication between shifts or locations isn't always perfectly consistent.
