      Pros

      Things I love about working for CityView -No layoffs during the entire pandemic -Cares about the health, safety and well-being of each employee -Growing, profitable company -Flexible work location: headquarter offices are in Victoria, BC (Vancouver Technology Park), but many employees work remotely from their homes throughout the USA & Canada, or you can choose a hybrid option (office/home mix) -Flexible schedule: You choose when you put in your hours; just get the work done:) -Leadership is responsive & accessible

      Cons

      No real cons. Work is challenging and there is a learning curve, but the environment is friendly, collaborative and supportive.

      Pros

      Lots of opportunity to be successful without micromanaging. You are held to an extremely high standard so you have to be willing to press through to excellence.

      Cons

      The domain (local city government) is challenging to learn without some prior background. You have to really press through to develop expertise.

      Pros

      Mostly good people there, everyone is driven behind a common goal. They really emphasize building the software to match the needs of their users and it's something everyone rallies behind.

      Cons

      There are not many cons. The pay could be a better and there is one person in higher management that is prickly, but altogether, this is a good company to work for.
