Pros

I’ve been working at Civ Robotics for several years, including relocating with the company, and they supported me throughout the whole process. I enjoy the fast-moving and dynamic environment where you can clearly see the impact of your work. Most people in the company are highly educated and experienced, yet everyone is easy to work with. Your ideas are heard, and you can genuinely influence how things are done. It’s also a place where people work fast, without endless email threads or task ping-pong, communication is direct and things actually move. Overall, I honestly don’t understand why the rating here is so low. It’s a solid place to work with experienced people and plenty of room to grow.

Cons

When a few new employees started abusing time off ( and didn’t leave any comments here about how flexible and supportive the company was toward them) the vacation rules were tightened for everyone, including long-time staff. Limited PTO genuinely upset the team. Still, the company remains flexible in day-to-day work and understanding when personal situations come up, and they do support you and give time off when needed.

Pros

Civ is a really exciting company to be part of. The team is smart, collaborative, and genuinely cares about building something meaningful. There’s a lot of opportunity to learn, take ownership, and contribute in a meaningful way.

Cons

Like many growing companies, processes are still evolving, so there can be some ambiguity at times and things can move quickly.

Pros

I worked at the company for about two years and overall had a really great experience. It’s an amazing place to be if you love working with cool robotics technology and want to actually see your work out in the field making a difference. One of the biggest things I noticed is how much the culture and the general vibe in the office improved over time. When I first joined it was already a good place, but as the company grew, the founders really put in the effort to make it a more positive and enjoyable environment. You can feel the difference — everything runs a lot smoother now and I genuinely enjoyed coming to work every day. I’m also excited for the direction the company is heading. They’re working on new technologies, expanding into new areas, and you really feel like you’re part of something that’s growing fast. If I wasn’t moving out of state, I would have definitely stayed.

Cons

If I had to mention cons, I’d say that sometimes you might need to put in an extra hour or two to finish something urgent, which is pretty normal for a growing startup. Depending on your role, there can also be some travel involved. When I joined, they didn’t have a 401k yet, but they recently added it once they reached the required number of employees.
