Pros

I know there's a bunch of bad reviews here and they seem valid. I've been working on calls for a while here and my experience with the people in my sector of Civitech have been wonderful to work with. I always am happy to work with them, and they've been very helpful with everything I've done here. The overall role has been very easy and straightforward, and there's not a long list of things you need to remember when you're trained. They recently made a great decision to go from contract to W-2 for our roles and that's a huge thumbs up for me! 👍

Cons

The hours can be pretty lacking and it's not always going to be easy dealing with people on the phone. Callers can be very aggressive and rude sometimes. I also wish the company could work on the material they're sending out to people, there's alot of phrasing that has people worried that it could be a phishing scam, or voter fraud, or something else.

Pros

The people. Civitech is full of smart, talented, and genuinely supportive coworkers who care about the mission and about each other. Leadership is approachable, receptive to feedback, and does a great job communicating the company's vision and priorities. The company invests in its people through professional development opportunities, thoughtful performance review cycles, and programs like SMILES that bring a little extra fun and connection into the workday. I've also been impressed by how intentional Civitech is about building culture in a remote environment. From team-building activities to an in-person retreat, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues and build relationships beyond day-to-day work. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, take on new challenges, and work alongside people who want you to succeed, Civitech is a great place to be.

Cons

Pretty typical startup growing pains—processes and operations haven’t fully caught up with the pace of the rest of the organization yet. Nothing unusual for a company at this stage, just the tradeoff of moving fast and staying flexible.

Pros

Entry-level and junior staffers are amazing to work with, but everyone is disposable to this company. It’s hard to trust anyone, and you’ll often find yourself trying to figure out who you can confide in, while HR solely exist only to protect the CEO and the Board. This company is very deceptive. I know the job market is tough, but please run away.

Cons

""""TRUST THE REVIEWS FROM THE LAST 12 MONTHS"""" Avoid. At. All. Cost. There’s a reason why there are so many negative reviews. This company is not progressive, this company is not fair, and if you look at leadership, you won’t really find any people of color. The turnover at this company is insane. Every week, someone was being fired, leaving, or laid off. This company is a train wreck. They will get rid of anyone indiscriminately; it doesn’t matter if you’re doing good or doing bad. Anyone can be removed from their position, and Civitech will write a post about how they know change can make folks feel uneasy. They don’t care about making you feel uneasy; they just want you to put your head down and keep working. How many more VPs and executives are you going to replace this year? How many more people will churn due to terrible leadership and the mismanagement of resources and funds?
