Pros
Lots of great people on campus that really care about the students and their college experience. Beautiful campus location. Excellent benefits and retirement programs.
Cons
Fractured campus culture. High overturn in leadership positions has impacted every department on campus. Inability to accommodate ADA disabilities. Little to no training for new employees. Resources are scarce including computers and office space. Senior management is pushing for "hybrid" employees to be on campus more but all meetings are virtual so working on campus often means sitting in video meetings in a loud cubicle setting. Pointless drive toward outdated management approaches (micromanaging) and rigid scheduling. Hybrid schedules are not respected. Expect to work on campus five days a week even if you're hired to be on campus three days a week.
