Pros
-Focus on development of their team including various programs, education, and development paths that are not found in other GCs -Great reputation for going the extra mile and doing good work -Localized portfolio of work so frequent travel isn't necessary -A lot of large scale projects giving rare exposure to high-end clients -Great focus on diversity relative to other GCs -Generally a fun company to work for, regular company sponsored social events -*Some* flexibility with work from home when necessary depending on department and project needs
Cons
-Experience at project level varies widely, it can be normal for people to log 8 hours worked while working 10-12 hour days regularly on projects -Lack of small scale projects that would give experience to younger PMs -Clark will reward those who work the most, leadership may preach work/life balance but it's frequently not done in practice, and is unattainable given standards set by management at project level -Strong corporate established initiatives & culture rarely make it down to project level -Bandaids low morale with team bonding events and happy hours
