Pros

Weekly Paychecks. Design-Build Firm where you can have interaction with the production of your design (but won’t). Weekends off, but they'd love to have you and will probably ask. Halfway through my time there I didn't have to work out of a construction trailer anymore! Working on the field team is the only place that you want to be. Trust me.

Cons

Long hours that are endless if you are on one of their larger projects. No compensation for extra-long hours (leaving early on a Friday, etc.) and end of year bonus does not come close to making up for the overtime (that they don't track) that you put in over the year. No clear direction is given by management on the tasks they hand out. They consider this a form of training. No training on a completely new and not widely used BIM software, Tekla. No CAD standards. Employees should not have to write out a cost/benefit analysis spreadsheet before they are given a laptop. If you were a legit mid to large sized firm you hand a laptop to your employee on day one.

Pros

Great opportunities, everyone is very helpful and understanding! You will be welcomed by many. It does feel like a family/team; if you need anything, they are there to help you every step of the way. They also have optional company events to bring everyone closer, and they are actually very convincing!

Cons

This may vary by department, but so far, I don't see any major downsides that would turn me away. Some might mention PTO or Pay, and I partly agree, BUT considering the environment you are in and the people you work with, I think the Pros definitely outweigh the Cons, IF any.

Pros

From the very beginning the hiring team was efficient and responsive which made the interview experience and onboarding process smooth. The work is fast paced but manageable with the support of the team and management. The opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute is always there. Clark Pacific is flexible and family oriented. Most professionals that work here have families of their own and understand the importance of having the work life balance.

Cons

I have only been here a short time, but I have no cons.
