Pros

It's flexible. They do all the required stuff, they pay you on time and if a student cancels with less than 8 hours notice, they reimburse you. They're a legit company.

Cons

Poor pay. They take a massive commission per class. 1 your first class with a student they take the whole amount. U have to pay 15 quid to advertise yourself at the beginning/medium term. Until you get about 15 reviews on your profile and over 100 teaching hours, nobody will have a lesson with you unless you advertise so takes ages to build up your profile without paying for ads. I get their model but as an employee you're being ripped off. Commission rates are much better at say Italki.

Pros

The tutor has independence in deciding own resources to use in the shared classroom workspace. Both tutor and student have flexibility in rescheduling classes if needed. Tech support/customer service usually responds within a day if issues arise. Emails from Classgap staff are always professional and respectful. Pays promptly around the 26th of each month. Tutors decide own schedule and set own hourly and lesson package rates. Tutors do not have to set low rates to attract students.

Cons

Pay is once per month so you have to budget accordingly. Minimum payout is around $50 so if you don't meet that threshold, you will not get paid that month.

Pros

Helps you to attract students

Cons

Not satisfied with their commission rate and to get more profile visibility they take 100 per cent commission of your first lesson with each student , it's too much
