Pros

The company has been doing the same thing every year for the past 10 years, so it's a pretty easy job. No accountability, and average tenure of wayyy long, so no one really needs to worry about getting fired. Your job is pretty much secure forever. There are a lot of people who have never had a job outside of this company, so the bar is fairly low and the craziest thing is that they dont even know, so no one has to worry about working too hard here.

Cons

Management is pretty inept. The company just lost the only 2 leadership members that knew what they were doing. The previous COO and CTO were well accomplished, results driven employees that were holding the ship afloat. Now, the leadership team is riddled with employees that have been with the company for 20 years plus, and have never had another real job. Needless to say that there is a real lack of leadership. The company has also been losing a lot of talent since COVID. The previous email Marketing Specialist left, some of the top reservationists have left, product team has left, BD has quit, along with the most qualified members of Leadership. Culture is what really makes this company unbearable. After since the COO left, every employee has been looking for other jobs, and its an unsaid secret that its "Last man standing" and you better get out before you're left holding the bag. This made it impossible to work here... It's a killer to hear how all of your colleagues have applied for other jobs and are dying to get out... Can't work this way.

Some systems could be more integrated to improve workflow efficiency across departments. With growth, internal communication can occasionally lag — more consistent cross-team updates would help. Pace of change can be slow due to layered approval processes, though intentions are strong.

CEO is a micromanager getting into day to day needs of employees causing a lot of people to leave.
