Startup sort of feel and agility, mostly good people there

Maybe not a common situation - most of my coworkers were very good fit - but not always consistent with expectations. While I was open about lack of knowledge of this industry from before the first interview, but 6 months after hire was being asked to provide director-level (unguided data exploration to guide strategic decision-making) insight from analyst-level job. Honestly, would love to have grown into that role, but don't believe that level of insight was feasible with that term.
