Pros

Compensation: Pay is phenomenal. A great base pay with a generous bonus structure that allows you to enter bonus and earn a percentage of your collections within five to six months of the beginning of the year if you're willing to put the work in. Management: The partners are all great. Everyone there genuinely wants you to succeed. The firm is not overly competitive, allows people to work at their own pace (so long as they fulfil their ethical obligations to their clients). There is absolutely no micromanagement however more experienced attorneys are always available to give their input or help you on a case. Workload: Your workload is in many ways up to you. If you want to hit the ground running and make money, the partners will go out of their way to make sure they give you the work that needs to be done. If you feel overworked or overwhelmed, they'll be sure to cut your cases back to a more manageable level. At the end of the day, the firm wants you to succeed.

Cons

There aren't really any cons. I left for reasons that had nothing to do with the firm and often miss both the people and the work.

Pros

This firm has several locations from which to chose in North and South Carolina. They provide comfortable accommodations and clearly delineated duties. Overall, I enjoyed my coworkers and my immediate supervisor was a kind individual.

Cons

Very low regard for support staff and very clear caste system in place. Support staff reminded often that they are replaceable. Associate attorneys and support staff were managed in a way that was reflective of a kindergarten classroom. A very clear separation of attorneys and support staff. Poor HR practices and lots of favoritism shown to certain people. Too much time spent on pettiness and no positive reinforcement.
