Managers truly believe they are good people. They are not. They are exploiting labor and only pay you in the set appointment time, if you go outside that time, they don’t pay for the time you go over. They also take away pay and time already worked if given a bad review by clients who give false information to get a free clean. They don’t even do walkthroughs or requests pictures of the clients home first so it’s a big surprise whatever we’re walking into, and it’s completely based on the client being honest about the condition and size of their home. Communication wasn’t amazing, and they pride themselves on their communication which is comical, so you have to put all the effort into communicating anything, every day. They also clearly don’t communicate with their clients as they regularly complained to me about it. I also found the job to be mildly depressing. You’re going into people’s personal homes and seeing how some people live was a little shocking and upsetting, and although it never personally happened to be, coworkers talked of being put in unsafe situations. I was deceived in my interview, some details were exaggerated or the truth was stretched some and I REALLY hate being lied to in interviews. Training was iffy. You get trained by a coworker, and everyone does the job differently, so it’s not consistent. I was also told that my first day when picking up supplies that I would be walked through the apps they use and no one ever showed me how to use them and I had to figure it out myself, they also just handed me the supplies without walking me through them. I personally don’t approve of management passing off training to their employees, I find it lazy and inefficient. Coworkers were nice enough. If you end up on a team clean beware, some coworkers are intentionally slow and lazy so you end up cleaning the majority of the house.
