Pros

Great individuals and the snacks

Cons

Deeply toxic environment. Extremely sexist environment where people who make money for the company are allowed to make violent, sexist, racist, homophobic remarks with no consequences. Chief People Officer is not only incompetent but is also a gossip and deeply mean, making inappropriate comments about other female employees lunches. Additionally she constantly shares inappropriate details about other employees to anyone who will listen. One of the 2 co-CEOs is a busybody who spends his time walking around the office finding things to get upset about. Extremely high turnover for a reason.

Pros

Great leadership, incredible colleagues and great vision

Cons

Not really much, probably not the right fit if you are trying to pass days/do the same work without trying to innovate, learn, and grow.

Pros

$17 daily DoorDash credit. Free food in the pantry.

Cons

I joined the company before the planned IPO during a period of high optimism and strong morale. However, following the withdrawal of the IPO, I observed a noticeable decline in culture, employee morale, and clarity of direction. In my experience, there was a lack of visible leadership and communication at a time when employees were looking for guidance, which contributed to uncertainty across the organization. While the company positions itself as a fintech with ambitious growth goals, many internal processes felt more aligned with those of a traditional financial institution. I found workflows and processes to be cumbersome and difficult to scale efficiently. Day-to-day work is often highly reactive and process driven. I also experienced a significant amount of oversight and micromanagement, resulting in a job that gave me very low autonomy. In my experience, there was also an expectation of being available outside of normal working hours, despite already being in office for 10+ hours per day.
