Pros

Open and horizontal culture. Very small amount of bureaucracy and collaboration between teams is always encouraged and pursued. Fast paced so there is an opportunity to learn and take a lot of responsibility.

Cons

Fast pace also means that there can be a lot of u-turns, but that is just life in a startup.

Pros

The management team demonstrates exceptional proficiency in the field of sales, despite lacking technical expertise and credibility.

Cons

AVOID - Inconsistent and unpredictable leadership, causing instability and uncertainty in the organization. - Management is indecisive and lacks structure, which causes employees to feel directionless and scattered. - Lack of transparency and accountability in decision-making processes leads to frustration and mistrust among employees. - The company lacks a clear long-term vision, further contributing to a lack of focus among employees. - The products offered by the company are not viable. For instance, their "alpha" signals are fundamentally flawed, and their backtests are biased. As a result, the company fails to generate any real value. - Poor communication between management and employees results in constant misunderstandings and inefficiencies. - A toxic work culture that fosters competition and undermines collaboration. - Inadequate resources, including budget and staffing, which hamper the company's ability to achieve its goals. - Main investor is pulling out.

Pros

Nice colleagues (but not senior management). The employees are nice to each other.

Cons

Yelling, bullying, unpleasant culture, bad product. If Mike (the CEO) is having a bad day (which is most days), he will take it out on you. Expect to be yelled at in front of your colleagues. If the senior management does not like you, they will gang up on you and try to push you out. The product is not good. Management keeps cutting corners and never get the product to a place where it's actually functional. They don't listen to/respect the tech people. By the way, the five star reviews are fake. When you join the company you are asked to give the company a five star review (to make the company look good). As you can see every review has a five star - why do you think that is?
