Building relationships and connections with other mental health professionals.
Cons
Constant employee turnover and lack of structure and policy implementation in each department. There are no set guidelines to follow for most of the back office staff (UR, admissions, billing), so it’s really a sink or swim learning experience. It doesn’t seem much different for most client facing positions. Pay is nothing to celebrate either.
