Friendly company personnel; growing company. They have a commitment to advancing the state of their art in a circumscribed way. They hired me to break free of those methods in some of their more difficult, expensive, third-party implementations.
Cons
Cramped work environment. Duplicitous management. Poor communication of goals and methods. Lack of budget freedom to implement what they required. I did exactly as asked and was laid off in a reduction-in-force immediately before I was to have a review. I was eating lunch one moment and out of work the next. I had no conversation with my immediate supervisor or with the VP of Engineering, who assigned the work. I was informed by the VP of HR, who handed me my package in a spare office while they disabled my computer account.
