Pros
The company doesn't micromanage you and as it goes, once individually you have given enough reason to be reliable and trustworthy that will be a benefit to you.
Cons
Operationally I feel there are things that can be improved that will improve quality of work or quality of life. As an editor usually there isn't much change we can affect at this stage when the work comes to us so i understand the frustrations. Unfortunately, these things are made to seem subjective so we do what we can.
