Pros

• Benefits benefits benefits! The benefits at this company are amazing. From Christmas gifts, to the latest Macbooks, and top of the line "everything" • Lower management is approachable, positive, and fun. •Environment is full of fun folks to work around. Many employees love to connect outside.

Cons

• The workload is outrageous. There is no clear cut role description because you are expected to do, fill in, and be any and everything you can. IMO this tactic is used to alleviate the need to create roles that require a different type of compensation when "everyone can chip in" • CEO feels unreachable. Although the "inner circle" has direct access, it seems those attached to that circle make it very hard for your ideas to get past their ceiling they've created. They will condescend (not just professionally poke holes in) your ideas if it offends their belief that they are always getting it all perfectly right. • Mental manipulation, followed up with 1 on 1's with your "caring" manager to make sure to can continue to juggle the hugs stressor you've just committed to. •Culty vibes. There's this feeling that "Everything's perfect here" that really isn't the case. and that's ok, but the pretending has turned into the culture •They don't want to hear anything about DEI. Especially not implement any training or even a team surrounding it. It's not worth their money or time to invest in it. The way they see it, they are *diverse enough* • Other micro and passive aggressions, too many to name, but will overwhelm you if you do not thrive in mentally strenuous environments. Had many panic attacks and depressive episodes.

Pros

Some smart, ambitious people who you can learn a lot from.

Cons

This place is an unstable, toxic mess, and leadership is largely to blame. The C-suite is full of egos and seems to make goals and quotas up out of thin air, then cleans up the fallout from poor planning and overhiring with layoffs. There have been three company-wide mass layoffs in less than four years, and that doesn’t even include the many layoffs that have happened quietly behind closed doors. The toxicity at the top trickles down through the entire organization. VPs put pressure on middle management, who then pass that pressure on to ICs. The company can’t seem to keep leaders in place for more than six months, which creates constant chaos and confusion. Strategies are always changing, priorities shift every few months, and nothing ever sticks long enough to make a real impact. Promotions seem to be based more on politics, favoritism, and who can make the most noise than on actual performance. The same people get promoted year after year, and many of them seem underqualified for the titles they hold. If you’re good at self-promotion and have the right relationships, you’ll probably do fine. If you’re quietly doing great work, don’t expect the same recognition. HR keeps saying they’re working on improving the promotion process, but I haven’t seen much change. If you’re considering joining the GTM org (especially the operational side) I would think twice. The new leadership loves to talk about transformation, improvements, and exciting changes, but there’s usually very little follow through behind the messaging.
