Pros
The company culture at CLIF was incredible before the buyout from Mondelez. Then it turned into a huge company full of corporate bs and fake niceties. It all feels so disingenuous. I had a great work/life balance during my time at CLIF but mostly due to my incredible manager. I can't say that was the norm for every team in the company.
Cons
Mondelez had horrible business ethics and bad processes for a large company. But then, ironically, I was forced to watch so many training videos on "proper business ethics" during my time with them. I couldn't even pay my invoices for different vendors because the process was so bad... not because they didn't have the money to pay it. I hit a dead end every time I was given someone's name to help me remedy the problem. It was embarrassing and took so long to resolve that I told the vendors to go ahead and file lawsuits. Hopefully this was just a messy thing that happened because of the integration and is not the norm for them.
