Pros
Interesting project with a lot of opportunity to work on cutting edge features and systems.
Cons
Terrible work life balance, some managers are only out for their own career progression and will happily throw their employees under the bus to that end. No care for employee wellbeing at the manager level, and you met with strong backlash if you try to reach out to HR about your wellbeing. The HR department seem to be well intentioned but lack the power to support struggling employees. The companies tools and processes are not up to scratch and drastically hinder progress on the project. They develop a lot of very cool features but the stability of the engine and user experience is always neglected making those cool features only good for technical demos and very difficult to use in production. The pay and benefits are well below the rest of the industry. Mandatory in office work, however the company is split across many different countries, so you are forced to commute and work in a noisy office, only to sit on teams calls with colleagues in different countries.
