My experience at Cloudbeds was a major letdown. The culture often felt dysfunctional and unsupportive, with unproductive power dynamics that got in the way of real progress. Many managers seemed to prioritize personal errands over guiding and helping their teams, creating an unbalanced workload and leaving talented, dedicated team members feeling undervalued.
The environment became increasingly toxic, where qualified and hardworking individuals were overshadowed by less competent management. It created a cycle of neglect and unfair practices, allowing for manipulation and a disregard for employee well-being and morale. This was not the supportive, growth-focused culture I expected.
For those who prefer a more structured and respectful workplace, Cloudbeds might not be the right fit. It may work for people who are okay with the status quo, but for anyone motivated by collaboration and progress, I’d suggest looking elsewhere
