Pros
Not much in terms of positive attributes. Some of the coworkers are nice and the company is good at providing snacks.
Cons
The company is a mess. Corporate upper management is completely disconnected from those in charge of the Austin office. All semblance of corporate culture is gone and instead, the office is run as a boot camp, with extreme micromanaging, and over-the-top expectations with no room for mistakes or failure. Local leadership has no formal education or background in leadership and in fact, middle management is simply friends of the local directors. Not only does the fact that middle management is hired from directors' friends from outside the company create rampant in-group thought and an oppressive workspace, but this leaves every other worker no room to grow or move up. In fact, accomplishments are never acknowledged but every mistake is absolutely magnified. These concerns cannot be taken anywhere in the company because there is no formalized HR department, so issues like this are simply never brought up or brushed aside due to in-group thinking.
