Pros
As a small company, the work you do is quite varied and individual performance has an impact. The engineering team, while relatively young, is very capable, open and pleasant. The company is in a beautiful location, albeit a bit far from major cities. Keep in mind that moving to Switzerland comes with significantly more effort and costs than most European countries.
Cons
Unfortunately the company suffers from very poor management (essentially just the CEO), stemming from a lack of experience and extreme stubbornness. The business and development plans are extremely unrealistic and will not be adjusted. The CEO serves as CTO as well, and makes decisions on a whim, without investing the time to understand complex topics. Concerns of employees are brushed aside, issues with timelines, development, purchasing, etc. are to be solved by the engineering team 'pushing harder', instead of re-evaluating the development plan. Compensation is quite low for the local living cost, and they tend to low-ball the offer at first.
