Pros

Very supportive work environment with great learning opportunities for growth, great/fair pay and competitive benefits, intelligent and positive workforce, driven leadership. Coalfire gives you the opportunity to grow within the company, whether that's vertically or horizontally (cross-training). The culture and leadership at Coalfire is fantastic. Good balance - they promote fun and community but are also passionate about company growth/success and client satisfaction. As with any new position it takes a while to get up to speed, and that can feel a bit overwhelming and nerve wracking, but Coalfire provides good training resources, a "First Friend" (mentor) and lots of meet and greet meetings to get to know your team and others.

Cons

Managers, give new hires a little more time to go through the required training without having to rush through, and allow some time/opportunities for new hires to wrap their heads around the work they will be doing before throwing them into too many sessions and meetings that make no sense at the moment.

Pros

Excellent place to work. Company culture is one that seems hard to find elsewhere nowadays. Managers care about their direct reports and not only want them to succeed but actively help them gain experience and develop the skills they need to advance in their career. No expected to work crazy hours beyond standard 40 every week but extra hard work never goes unnoticed

Cons

Could benefit from hiring more support in associate positions and build a strong foundation to promote internally

Pros

WFH and flexibility in working schedule.

Cons

Uncompetitive pay; unrealistic expectations of their workforce; annual re-orgs; toxic and incompetent leaders with the exception of a couple. There is no room for growth/advancement, but that doesn’t deter them from saddling employees with more responsibility without compensation.
