Pros

Good team and nice office close to Covent Garden

Cons

Really terrible Management styles. Shamed for being sick even when very rare. Talking badly about other stagff was encouraged by those at the top and everyone very scared of boss, WhatsApp doesnt stop even late into night mostly from boss or those in charge. Was unpaid but work expectation was very high same level as paid staff and deff not worth the so called “experience” as everyone who I have interviewed with since knows they have a terrible reputation

Pros

As a small company, you get to be much more involved in things than you would anywhere else. You get amazing opportunities and lots of experience, even at entry level. You contribute to business strategy and key decisions, which is really fulfilling. Everyone’s opinions are taken on board regardless of position, and there’s not a hierarchy like there is at other larger companies - the CEO treats us all as equals, and genuinely cares about us and our viewpoint. I feel supported by her and know she cares about my success and wants me to do well. We’re all really close and it feels like a family, not just a workplace, which I love. The product is beautiful and everyone is really passionate about what the company stands for and the work we do. I always feel inspired at work. I love working here and plan to stay here for many years to come!

Cons

As it’s a small team and you have more responsibility here than you would at bigger companies, you do have busy periods where there’s a lot of pressure. It’s also fast paced. These are both things I enjoy, but I know others may struggle with it. It depends on your personality type and whether that’s the kind of work environment and big role you enjoy. Also, as part of a small team, on rare occasions you may need to jump in and support your colleagues who are busy. Again, something I’m happy to do and enjoy, but I know some people who have worked here previously want to stay in their role and not help out with other tasks outside of this. All jobs have downsides and stressful moments, but I’m so much happier here than I have been at any other workplace.
