Is this your company?

In this moment, is not the most stable company - Senior Software Engineer Code and Theory Employee Review

Pros

Exposed to great projects and great professionals from all over the world

Cons

Many layoffs each quarter, and projects are being extended only for a month, after that, there's a big risk of being laid off because the company does not know where to allocate that resource, which will lead to burnout and peaks of stress and uncertainty.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you have had great exposure to projects and our global professionals, we agree that we get some really great work and are able to work around incredible people. Employee terminations are never easy, having said that we try and make strategic business decisions to account for new types of work, new skill sets, new talent, etc. The decisions are never easy (whether they are performance based or due to a restructure) but if is our job as leaders to make sure we are as best positioned as possible to run our business and take care of our current employees. Thank you again for your note. We appreciate it.

Pros

I had the opportunity to work with amazing individuals and be part of several outstanding teams.

Cons

Recognition can be heavily influenced by recent accomplishments, and long term contributions may not always receive the same level of visibility. Your experience can also vary significantly depending on leadership, as having a strong manager makes a tremendous difference, while ineffective management can make it easier to feel overlooked.
