Pros
Working at Codility has been a breath of fresh air. They genuinely respect work-life balance, so I’m able to do meaningful work without feeling like I have to sacrifice my personal life. One of the things that really impressed me is the company's transparency—yes, even with financials. It’s rare to see this kind of openness, and it makes a big difference. I feel trusted here, with the autonomy to make decisions and take charge of my projects. The people I work with are talented, supportive, and just a joy to be around. It’s a great feeling when your team inspires you every day. The benefits are also top-notch, which really adds to the sense that the company cares about our well-being. The work itself is challenging in all the right ways—there’s always something new to learn, and it keeps me engaged. Plus, there’s a mentorship program that’s been great for helping me grow and explore new skills. Being part of a globally distributed, fully remote team is a big plus, too. I have the flexibility to work across both EST and European hours, which really helps with work-life balance and keeps the team connected across time zones.
Cons
If I had to find a downside, I’d say moving up can be a little tricky to navigate. Promotions are achievable, but it takes consistent hard work. And honestly, it’s such a comfortable place to work that I can see myself staying here for the long haul—which might slow down career progression for some people who like to keep climbing.
