Pros
The people at COEX LLC are nice, friendly, open, helpful and generally good people.
They are fair and reasonable and should treat you well.
They produce quality products, be it their plastic coils or plastic filaments.
When I started work, the culture and values were quite excellent.
The employees were interested in learning contextual information about their products and how they are used, and valued such information.
Initially it felt like working at a company that made computers and was curious about their functionality and methods of use and application, where the employees all shared some level of interest.
Cons
No safety equipment for monitoring airborne contaminants like hydrochloric acid or other plastic byproducts.
Will not pass OSHA inspections.
It was implied that these would be remedied soon after i was hired, it was not after several months.
However, due to more employee and management turnover, most of the people who were interested and passionate about their products have left.
They still deliver excellent quality products, but it felt like they do not have much interest or appreciation of/in the community that uses their products.
Small company, little to no room for promotion.
Will not abide discussions of salary with co-workers.
The culture has been on life support for a while, hopefully it recovers and improves.
The people are good, but they just dont seem interested in anything more than delivering a good product.
When I left it felt like working at a company that made computers and was only interested in the surface information of how to make them well, with only a couple people having any appreciation for the product itself.
