Pros
Team and people were nice Job was interesting and challenging
Cons
1. Lack of project and product management. Deadlines were set as the CTO wanted, there was no clear product roadmap, no clear assignment of tasks, no documentation or tickets that show the functionality and tech specs for a feature. If CTO wanted specific feature to be delivered on specific day he would verbally harass everyone to get it done, including forcing people to work on weekends (including setting up calls on at 11pm on Saturdays). 2. Expectations to work overtime and on weekends as mentioned above. If he decided that something needs change on Saturday, then he'll bug you on Sunday morning that it should already be done. If you don't reply he'll just keep tagging and harassing you. 3. Verbally abusive CTO. And all of that is done in a completely rude manner, texting in Caps Lock, borderline calling people stupid, even though he is bullying people into overtime work, there is 0 empathy from his part, just constant rage. He treats people like slaves, is very much an entitled arrogant narcissistic bully. He considers that if he has successful start-ups he’s smarter than everyone else and can bully you and treat you badly. Senior Management knows that, everyone is aware of that, but no one does anything.
