Pros

A good way to get into the industry and gain some experience in IT

Cons

Unfortunately, as an external agent we had a lot of pressure and management didn't know how to handle the pressure which lead to complete termination of the team. HR never barely helped afterwards and felt like a number.

It was a much needed check in a time of need

Management seemed uneducated. I dnt know about cognizant as a whole but their eligibility department needs help. They focus on the things that do no matter. They were at risk of losing this contract, so now it’s whatever they client says, they do…no push back including making us do disability cases, that we had no previous knowledge of. In the beginning I was getting OT like crazy. Then they stopped it talking about it wasn’t in there budget, and at times when we needed someone to work/stay late. They are not consistent and the other employees there, are looking for other positions, too. Not to mention, myself and another employee were the only ones there for the longest. It’s a mess.
