If you're in the right restaurant on the right night, you can make decent money but don't expect any other perks.
Cons
As a 15 year employee, I still make minimum wage, get no benefits, no bonuses, no scheduling advantages, no company parties, not even a thank you. The company atmosphere has become very corporate without corporate benefits. After 15 years, you will basically be the same as an employee who has been there three months.
