Pros

-Accommodation and Support -Mental Resilience of learning how to cope and maintain focus despite external pressures has equipped me with valuable life skills that I can apply in various settings. -Overcoming the difficulties I encountered helped me realize my own potential -Had the privilege of connecting with some like-minded individuals who shared similar experiences and aspirations. The friendships I forged have been invaluable, offering a support system during challenging times and reminding me that I wasn't navigating the journey alone.

Cons

I had the unfortunate opportunity to work at the current company for around a year, and I feel compelled to share my experience here. To put it bluntly, this company embodies a nightmarish combination of poor management, recurring delay in salary credit without any prior notice, a toxic work culture, and an overall lack of regard for its employees' well-being. - Recurring Delay in Salary Credit without any prior notice: The most concerning aspect of my time with the company has been the recurring delay in salary credit. Despite the commitment to regular payment, I have consistently faced delays of several weeks, and at times, even more than a month without any prior notice and when we approach them for an update on salary disbursement, the response is consistently vague, with promises that the salary will be credited "within a week or so" but still it won't happen which is nuts. - Management Nightmares: The management at this company is a glaring example of how not to lead. It's evident that the "boss rule" is in full effect, with decision-making seemingly happening in a vacuum. This lack of transparency and inclusion often leads to drastic changes without any real explanation, leaving employees disoriented and frustrated. - Benefits and Compensation Nightmare: I cannot emphasize enough how disappointing the compensation and benefits package is. There are no bonuses, benefits, or even basic health insurance provided. The low salary is insult to injury, making it hard to justify the endless stress and effort that is expected. - Product and Market Failures: Despite being around for years, the company is still struggling to find its footing in the market. The product lacks a proper user base, and the constant shifts in direction and features only add to the confusion. The CEO seems to have a penchant for pivoting, but these changes often lack strategic direction and seem to be made on a whim rather than based on any real market research. - Unrealistic Expectations: Working here is synonymous with unrealistic deadlines and undue pressure. Proper scoping and planning are non-existent, and the CEO's habit of arbitrarily setting dates only to change them later adds to the chaotic environment. It's no wonder that the product's quality and user satisfaction suffer greatly. - Toxic Work Environment: The office is a breeding ground for a toxic work environment. Overworked employees are constantly pushed to the brink, with an endless stream of features and changes that don't align with market realities. Overtime is expected but not compensated, adding to the sense of being undervalued. - Mental Health Toll: I can attest to the mental toll this company takes on its employees. The stress and pressure are unrelenting, and it's no surprise that former employees have reported needing therapy after their time here. This is not an exaggeration– I've witnessed colleagues struggle with their mental health due to the sheer toxicity of this environment. In summary, I urge anyone considering joining this company to think long and hard before making such a decision. The lack of proper compensation, the nightmarish work culture, and the futile product efforts all point to a company that is in dire need of change from the top down. Unless there is a drastic overhaul in management and company values, I can only predict more of the same disappointment and stress for future employees.

Pros

Pros were to work independently

Cons

Very badly managed company. Unprofessional behaviour by founders. You won't get any support by them for work. They have very one sided offer letter which gives them full liberty to treat you the way they want and not give you salaries. There's no fixed working hours they expect you to be available all day.
