Pros

brand identity, easy to sell brand, assistants available , Most people are easy to get along with IF you fit their mold. Disneyland this is not! It is not the place to work for as far as being treated as an equal. as other non-employee agents are allowed to say whatever they want in meetings or hallways, most of which would be a complete violation and law suit in the real word

Cons

Layers and layer mgt people to get anything changed, Dont ask questions, ever. You will not get a straight answer. Like a mushroom, kept in the dark and fed a lot of BS , this is the place to be . Very non-progressive as far as attitudes and the mgrs work against you as they are selling agents, MGT is very non progressive and constant reminders of violations, and Not an equal opportunities employer. Very opinionated and they all need some training on how to handle people who do not think as they do . The present mgt is the shining example of how to smooze the upper mgt while wrecking the company from the ground up ruining attitudes and taking away the drive, and complaining to present staff about other agents, threatening, and using his power to make others feel inferior

Recognition due to the name

Cons

Although we are independent contractors,the broker continues to micromanage and it’s unbelievable how much money they take from our commissions.

Pros

I loved working with the agents. It was a good way to get into marketing especially if you have real estate experience.

Cons

There is no upwards mobility. This company invests heavily into diversity and if you are not part of a certain demographic, you will not get promoted. There were also frequent layoffs while I was there.
