Pros

Like I said, this place is full of great, understanding people who are actually in love with movies and TV. A good place to get your start writing or editing for entertainment if you want to kick off a career in that world and it's great to know that a lot of the creators (actors, writers, directors) of the things they write about actually read the site!

Cons

The pay is pretty junior, which — to be fair — aligns with the first-job-in-the-field situation there.

Flexible positions & okay work environment, with some fun coverage opportunities on rare occasions

Cons

No long term editorial strategy, focused more on clicks than actual quality journalism, and absolutely zero upward mobility/opportunities to expand with management that doesn't know how to communicate.
