Administration support is amazing! The district focuses on achieving excellence, teaching the entire student, creating life-long learners, and building community. This was honestly the most satisfying teaching position that I’ve ever had.

Teacher salary and cost of living don’t work for single people. I had to leave the state and teach elsewhere.

The children make it worth it The schedule is nice IF you can afford to only have one job

You can't live off the salary in a single income household Constant stress Never ending to do list A lot of liability! It is somehow always the teachers fault. Can be very political A raise is not guaranteed and the district can be slimy with negotiations The teachers best interest is not on the priority list for the district
