Pros
Surrounded by good, hard working people. This company has absorbed very good people from past acquisitions and is a pleasure to work around highly experienced individuals. There is always someone available to help you. Pay and compensation seems to be set a level to keep a level of turn-over that is acceptable to corporate management.
Cons
More and more this company seems to be veering into an area of unrealistic expectations. They find any overtime or even 40 hours per week too much, while giving you at least 45 hours of work. You work faster and harder than competitors and with a huge number of random products to deal with. Constantly dealing with new line-ups, accounts and more work, and then expected to actually be faster each day. The majority of employees skip lunches and breaks just to save questioning and lecturing from supervisors about hours worked. In the last six months, there has been a significant shift in management attitude from the welfare of employees to the profit of the company. They continue to buy out other distributors in Washington, Oregon and California. This is good for company, unless I suffer for their decisions.
