Pros

Really wonderful front line staff that genuinely care for the residence. Their aids are spectacular, could not do the job without them.

Cons

Completely delusional management, super unorganized, no computer literacy whatsoever, no process improvement, blame the RN or LPN is what they do, over worked , pharmacy screwed up don't have medications, schedule doesn't come out until last minute and you have little to no input. Myself and several other new RN's just recently hired quit specifically because we felt our licenses were at stake. They will blame the nurse for their incompetency. Poor pay, benefits don't start for 90 days after hire, probably because its a revolving door.

Pros

the people on this team are so amazing and kind. They really care about their job and being good at it for the residents sake.

Cons

The management is discombobulated and doesn’t always have the best listening skills when it comes to listening to what needs to get done.

Pros

-Wonderful clients to work with -Somewhat compensated for driving -Getting to know the clients -You get paid the whole shift if a client is not there or wants you to leave early

Cons

Please do not work for Bloom at Home for Columbine. I was under and over worked while working for them. They do not provide breaks for when you are with a client for 5+ hours and do not follow the Colorado labor laws with breaks. I have worked 10 hours straight with no breaks with Bloom and some people work 12 hours with no breaks or relief. My hours were inconsistent and consistently low during my time working here. I started getting hours and got them cut in a cycle. They also scheduled split hour shifts with like 3 or more hour breaks in between clients. There is an expectation to keep your phone on and ready to discuss work related tasks outside of your working hours. I have been called repeatedly by management outside of my working hours and told to respond immediately when outside of working hours. Pay is extremely low for the work we do too. Driving isn’t also fairly compensated. I was also promised 20 hours of training when I started this job and they did not provide me with 20 hours of training. Additionally, due to driving not being fairly paid and the breaks in between clients you end up working like 15 hour days but only get paid for like 8 hours of it. Additionally, they scheduled me repeatedly outside of my availability which lead to me stopping work at 10 PM and starting again at 7 AM.
