Pros

I made great friends there. The location is right down town. Great restaurants are in the area.

Cons

The location does not make up for the feeling of being taken advantage of. They only pay the very minimum that anyone could except and make it seem like there is so much room to grow when really there is none. The CEO boasts how he made his fortune by charging people more for therapy because of the location of his practice. He has this same mindset with his employees. The pay is low and barely enough to make it living in Chicago. The benefits are expensive and minimal. They force people into working overtime. they take on more clients before hiring more people and creating so much more work for all employees. They have no respect for their employees and treat them as dispensable objects. They are the worst place to work ever. do not let them fool you. If you do happen to get promoted, you won't get a raise for 1 year of being in that position. they will add so much work to your plate and you won't be rewarded for it for 1 year. DO NOT WORK HERE!

Pros

Very stable employer with many opportunities for learning and growth. Ability to work fully-remote and employer provides the necessary technology for you. Full benefits and perks provided at service anniversaries.

Cons

Like most employer now PTO is limited to start, but is more generous later.

Pros

I have spent many years in many different organizations. I can honestly say that I feel more at home at Compsych than anywhere else in my career. The work brings me into contact with peers who are extremely helpful and kind. Upper levels of management are approachable and interested in suggestions and the success of the employees. I am very happy to be spending my years before retirement in such an environment.

Cons

Contact with the public, of course, has drawbacks. There can be people who are very, very difficult to deal with. I am trying to learn how to let it go and move on.
