Pros
In my org I have found leadership to be receptive and helpful with cocnerns.
Cons
Pay is not particularly competitive and leadership likes to act like they give much more equity than competitors to offset that but more than 50% of my "Equity" from the past 5 years is options which were worthless by the time they vested. Thankfully moving forward it will all be RSU but even so, comparing to other employers the totals are weak at best. I make effectively less as a higher level engineer thanks to inflation than I did when I was hired due to pitifully low annual raises ( <3%) and a sub 5% raise from moving up in level, all while dragging employees back to the office for jobs that can easily be done remote.
