      The pay was pretty good

      Cons

      I was an IC but they made it more so like employee work. Requiring days and hours. We arrived together to canvas neighborhoods, we left together. Long days, 1 day off per week

      Pros

      Totally commission based, when you make sale to a high commodity volume residence or business, a independent contractor can receive great money.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, deregulated states are flooded with marketing firms "securing" one's gas and electricity rates. Customer service with this firm is not trustworthy with sale contractors. A contractor is taught techniques that "register" an account with utility company. Sales are rarely made, because resident has heard it all before. If a sale is made, contractor is paid based on the usage of the account. No base pay for hours of door to door "rate protection plans".
