Pros

- Flexi-time and currently adopts a hybrid work set-up. - provides extra allowances and bonuses more than other national government agencies provide.

Cons

- slow job promotion as limited positions are offered and most supervisory positions are mostly vacated through mandatory retirement and length of service is part of the computation of points for promotions. - deadlines on outputs are the same for everyone, regardless of the size of the team and the size of the agency you're in charge of. - politics on work assignments.

Pros

Strong job security, government benefits, structured processes, and valuable exposure to public sector financial compliance and audit standards. Can build discipline in documentation and regulatory work.

Cons

Compensation often does not match workload and responsibility. Bureaucratic processes can be slow, outdated, and highly hierarchical. Career growth may feel limited, with heavy administrative burden and inefficiencies affecting productivity.
