      Pros

      This company cares about it's employees. They have regular staff retention committee meetings where new suggestions and opportunities are discussed. These meetings are open to all employees. They are always looking at new and interesting training options for all staff. Being in compliance with the law is a top priority.

      Cons

      At the DSP level there is no opportunity for pay raises unless it's a state wage increase. No health insurance

      Pros

      Great people to work for. This is a very fulfilling job and allows you to create lasting positive relationships with many people.

      Cons

      The pay rate is not what it should be. With a hold on any sort of pay increase by the government we seem to be short staff. Many people do not want to do this type of work for as little as we get paid.

      - The feeling of doing good for others - It's a relaxed work environment - It's an easy job

      Cons

      - No health benefits unless you're a manager. - It can be difficult to work with some individuals - You'll only ever earn just barely above minimum wage - people who've been there 20 years earn the same as someone walking in off the street.
