Pros
Some departments have excellent leadership, but it is few and really luck of the draw. Generous number of paid holidays for most departments. Some of the clients are genuinely appreciative and a pleasure to work with. Management can sometimes work from home during bad weather (sorry worker bees). 35 hour week work and an hour lunch.
Cons
Extremely high turn over. Benefits keep getting reduced. CRT used to give 7 hours of paid leave a week for educational purposes, but that was cut two years ago. Yearly health insurance increases, usually shouldered by the employees. Unprofessionalism, even at the management level, is common place. Unprofessional, aka ghetto. HR is very difficult to work with. Interview process can take months. Some employees are given lots of freedom, while others, none. When I left the company I was misinformed about the last day of my health insurance coverage, which cost me over $200. Exit paperwork with time sensitive forms were signed and dated by HR Generalist, but postmarked 15 days later, with information still missing. Cobra paperwork was two months late and HR couldn't say why and seem half hearted about following up. But, they still sent me a holiday card and I wasn't even on the payroll on that point.
