Pros
The people at this company are amazing and genuinely want to put out great work for the agents. No matter how terrible or discouraging the culture got, I always knew I could go to my team and they would brighten my day. The job is also extremely easy, so while you shouldn't expect to actually grow your skills or talents during your time here, you can expect a great work/life balance.
Cons
Honestly, if I wrote this a year ago, this review would sound totally different. This used to be a great place to work, but the executive team is running Compass into the ground, and quickly. Firstly, they consider themselves a tech company (and market themselves that way) except when it comes to employee salaries and benefits. They expect top talent but pay embarrassingly low salaries and the benefits just keep getting taken away. Health, dental, and vision insurance used to be completely covered, but employees will now be charged for them. Not to mention they've also taken away several other benefits (no more education or gym stipend) making the total compensation laughable for the experience they expect. They also stopped offering raises as the company is in financial trouble, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. Promotions? You can still get those, but as stated previously, they won't pay you more for the new title. You'd never guess any of this bein in a meeting with any of the c-suite team as they can only talk about how successful and great the company is, but if you Google the projected EOY numbers, you'll see the real story. There's a lot of companies out there that actually value their employees, and if you're thinking of joining Compass, I would really think twice before you put yourself in an extremely regrettable position.
