Pros

Great benefits Set schedule of 12 hr shifts (4 days off) Most of the staff is amazing and are supportive colleagues

Cons

Low pay for younger employees ($19.34 for someone with 7 years of caregiving experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology) even though I often worked much harder than the people getting paid $10 more an hour under the same job title Education is not a factor in pay Management could be better

Pros

→ Meaningful work with crisis patients → Decent pay and benefits on paper → Some wonderful frontline coworkers

Cons

→ Toxic clique culture among certain leads and supervisors that HR refuses to address → Experienced nurses with clean records are suddenly targeted with anonymous complaints and unfair investigations → Extremely high turnover (90%+ in some teams) speaks for itself → Management plays favorites; if you’re not in the inner circle, you’re eventually pushed out
