Pros

I have worked for this company for over 16 years, I have loved this field for for over half my life and I have worked for other agencies in this field. This job can be hard but working at Compass has allowed me to do what I love while providing me an incredible community and support system. I never feel alone even on the hardest days. I have been continually developed and poured into. Compass has a high value for personal growth. I have been forever changed

Cons

Because I love what I do I have no cons. Be warned to work here you must love people and be open to receive feedback.

Pros

Working at Compass SLS/ILS has been a meaningful experience for me for the last 7 years. The company truly prioritizes client quality of life, and you can see that reflected in the care and support provided by the teams. There is a strong sense of purpose in the work, and leadership does recognize employees who go above and beyond. I’ve also had opportunities to grow professionally, take on leadership responsibilities, and be involved in projects outside of my direct role.

Cons

The workload can be very heavy and at times feels unsustainable, especially during staffing shortages or crisis situations. Communication is necessary between departments. 24/7 emergency support when on call can also be draining and makes it difficult to fully disconnect or recharge outside of work.
