      It is hard and dirty industry to work in. On call is not for everyone.

      You're helping others in their time of need.

      Cons

      There are times (been a lot more recently) where there won't be enough work, and you'll have to go on Stand By. You're not guaranteed a full day/week of work. Management is like a highschool click.
