Pros
You’ll have a job and won’t be unemployed
Cons
Toxic work environment / Poor management - felt like I was in competition with my manager, and I would be ignored if I had a question or an issue and my manager felt like they didn’t want to deal with it No HR Canceled majority of employee appreciation activities - went from once a month to four times per year to nothing at all Manager was extremely unprofessional in all sense of the word When my team was under performing, instead of giving us helpful ways to improve, upper management took away our meetings and never let us have another meeting again When we lost our main resource to do our jobs, they didn’t give us anything to replace it with and no plan on how to move forward Would change how things worked from week to week and then blamed my team for the original plan not working The office is often a hostile place with people talking negatively about each other Very little recognition on success but public verbal lashings when a mistake is made - It’s an open office, people would often get reprimanded on the floor loudly for all departments to hear - extremely embarrassing and belittling
