Pros

The turnaround in this company is ongoing so you get to meet new people

Cons

Micro-management at the granular level. The management positions are just placeholders with no real authority. Low-pay, Low moral.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships with colleagues while at Computer Market Research. As a boutique software company that has been in business since 1984, serving a specialized group of high-volume clients, we take pride in our stability and the long-term partnerships we’ve built — some spanning over 15 years. We understand that not every role or environment is the right fit for everyone, and while our fast-paced, client-driven structure works well for many, we recognize that it may not suit all work styles. We appreciate the time and effort you dedicated during your tenure and wish you the very best in finding a position that aligns closely with your goals and expectations.

Pros

Flexible Schedule, Interesting Work, Lots of Perks - Del is a great guy and treats his teams like family.

Cons

This job is not for everyone. You perform and produce, or you move along and find something else. This is a high value boutique software firm - it's easy to think there's not a lot going on here - but there actually is. It's easy to look at the relatively chill Las Vegas office and think it's a chill, boring place... but that's not the case... you have to have your finger on the pulse of what's happening not only here, but also in San Diego, There's a lot happening behind the scenes. You have to be smart enough to figure that out. It's B2B so if you don't have that experience you have to learn quick. You've got to be accountable for your own success. Nobody is going to hold your hand while you figure it out - just figure it out. If you don't have a good level of self direction and accountability, this is not the place for you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations and wish you the best of luck in finding a role that aligns well with your skills and career goals. At Computer Market Research, we’ve been proudly serving a niche group of high-volume clients since 1984, with many client relationships lasting over 15 years. As a boutique software company, we hold our team to a high standard so we can deliver the level of service our clients expect. Our Las Vegas corporate office is smaller and focused on strategy and client success, which can sometimes feel separate from the day-to-day operations of our product and development teams. That’s why staying connected and engaged across the business is so important. We also strive to provide a quiet, collaborative environment with perks like free parking and a close-knit, family-like culture for those who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
